Choose a visible fixed surface near the sling storage, selection, or rigging preparation area where the reminder can be read before slings are used. Follow your facility’s safety procedures and the equipment manufacturer’s label-location guidance. Prepare a suitable clean, dry surface and follow the decal application instructions.
Do not place the sticker over sling identification or rating information, equipment nameplates, controls, or other required warnings. Confirm that the available mounting area accommodates the full 11 × 11-inch decal.
