Choose the product by its purpose. An operating instruction decal, an inspection-date sticker and a completed inspection report serve different roles.
The Brandt hi-rail instruction product includes two labels: one for road-to-rail operation and one for rail-to-road operation. Each label measures 9¾ × 5¾ inches and displays a 12-step sequence.
Compare the complete printed instructions with your vehicle’s equipment and manufacturer documentation before ordering. Do not assume the sequence applies to every Brandt truck or other hi-rail conversion.
Replacement instruction decals do not replace operator training or the vehicle’s operating manual.
The 3 × 5-inch notice reads “NOTICE ON RAIL SPEED LIMIT 10 MPH.” Select it only where that message matches the applicable equipment and operating instructions.
Place the notice where the driver or operator can read it. The printed value does not establish a universal speed limit for hi-rail vehicles or railroad operations.
Custom annual inspection designs provide fields for inspection information and company details. Compare the artwork, date layout, dimensions and customization instructions on each listing, including the 2 × 5¾-inch option.
An inspection sticker displays recorded information. Ordering or applying one does not perform an inspection, establish that equipment has passed or replace the supporting inspection record.
The Annual Hi-Rail Safety Inspection Checklist is a physical three-part paper report, not an adhesive sticker or a downloadable form. It provides a format for recording hi-rail inspection findings.
Dielectric-test stickers identify a separate type of test. They should not be treated as substitutes for annual hi-rail inspection labels or reports, and applying one does not make equipment electrically insulated.
Check each listing for its material, quantity and ordering method. Do not assume that every product in this collection is laminated vinyl, since the collection also includes paper report forms.
Use manufacturer-designated labeling locations where available. Keep operating instructions visible to the intended reader without covering controls, viewing areas, identification plates or other required markings.
