Water Valve Identification Labels – W-1 to W-6 & Custom

EST-W-001

These water valve identification labels mark water valve locations with a white W-number and faucet-and-drop symbol on green. Match each identifier to the valve recorded in your equipment's energy control program or valve identification system.

Printed identification and design

W-[selected number].

Standard selections run from W-1 through W-6. The faucet-and-drop graphic, identifier and white rounded border are printed together on one green sticker.

Size and selection

  • Size: 3 inches wide × 1½ inches tall.
  • Choose W-1 through W-6 or the custom Text option.
  • Adhesive water valve labels, not hanging tags with ties or chains.
  • The Text option identifies the printed valve number, not a pack containing every number.

Custom water valve identifiers

Choose the custom Text option and enter the exact identifiers required in the Notes section when checking out. Examples include W-99, W-1-1 and W-A-1. State the full identifier you want printed.

The custom image's W-? is a placeholder. Its red arrow and ADD YOUR SOURCE NUMBER HERE caption explain customization; they are not part of the printed sticker. Custom identifiers are printed for your order, not supplied as blank write-in fields.

Recommended placement

Place each label on a suitable fixed surface at or beside its corresponding water valve, visible to personnel identifying that valve. Keep its association with the correct valve clear, without covering valve-position markings, equipment identification, existing warnings or service access.

This is general placement guidance, not a verified factory mounting location. Have the person responsible for the valve identification system confirm the identifier and position. Choose a suitable clean, dry surface compatible with actual temperature and moisture conditions; do not assume suitability for hot pipework or continuously wet surfaces.

Identification, not shutoff verification

The W-number identifies a water valve; it does not indicate whether the valve is open, closed, locked or safe to operate. This design does not print MAIN WATER SHUTOFF, a flow direction or a specific operating instruction.

The green color and faucet symbol do not certify drinking-water quality or state a pressure or temperature rating. These labels do not stop water flow, release stored pressure or replace equipment-specific isolation procedures and other required information.
