Steam Energy Source Labels – S-1 to S-6 & Custom

EST-S-001

These steam energy source labels identify steam disconnect locations within an equipment energy control program. A white S-number and STEAM gauge graphic appear on a red background.

Printed identification and graphic

S-[selected number] and STEAM.

Standard selections run from S-1 through S-6. The gauge graphic, identifier and white rounded border are printed together on one red sticker.

Size and selection

  • Size: 3 inches wide × 1½ inches tall.
  • Choose S-1 through S-6 or the custom Text option.
  • Adhesive identification stickers, not hanging tags.
  • The Text option identifies the printed source number, not a pack containing every number.

Custom steam source identifiers

Choose the custom Text option and enter the exact identifiers required in the Notes section when checking out. Examples include S-99, S-1-1 and S-A-1. State the full identifier you want printed.

The custom image's S-? is a placeholder. Its blue arrow and ADD YOUR SOURCE NUMBER HERE caption explain customization; they are not part of the printed sticker. Custom identifiers are printed for your order, not supplied as blank write-in fields.

Recommended placement

Place each label on a suitable fixed surface at or beside the corresponding steam isolation point, visible to personnel identifying that point. Match the identifier to the equipment-specific energy control procedure. Keep valve positions, equipment identification, existing warnings and service access unobstructed.

This is general placement guidance, not a verified factory mounting location. Have the person responsible for the equipment's energy control procedure confirm the identifier and position.

Choose an application surface suitable for the label material and actual temperature. The STEAM marking identifies the energy source; it does not establish suitability for direct application to hot pipework, valves or other heated surfaces. Confirm the application conditions before ordering if the intended surface becomes hot.

Identification, not steam isolation

These stickers do not close or lock a valve, release stored pressure or verify that steam and heat hazards have been isolated. The printed gauge is an illustration, not a working pressure indicator. An S-number is not a pressure or temperature rating, or an indication that equipment is safe to service.

The labels do not replace equipment-specific isolation procedures, locks, testing or other required hazard information.
