Bottom-Mounted North-South Overhead Crane Directional Decal

This North-South overhead crane directional sticker marks crane travel directions with yellow N and S lettering and a vertical double-ended arrow on a blue background. The pictured layout places N above the arrow and S below it.

DIR-018 is intended for underside mounting on an overhead crane. Use it where a North-South direction reference matches the crane’s actual travel and the corresponding pendant or remote-control markings. This design identifies North and South only, not all four compass directions.

Eight Available Sizes

Choose from 5, 6, 7, 8, 12.5, 14, 20 or 24 inches. Measure the intended mounting area and consider the operator’s viewing position when selecting a size.

The pictured 5-inch version, DIR-018-5, measures 5 inches wide. The dimension line above the sticker is an image annotation, not part of the decal.

Match the Decal to Your Crane’s Travel Directions

Before installation, compare the N/S arrangement with the crane’s actual travel directions and the matching control markings. Check the layout from the operator’s intended viewing position beneath the crane.

The top and bottom of the product image do not establish North and South at your installation. Rotate and position the decal to match the equipment’s established directional arrangement, following the crane manufacturer’s instructions and workplace procedures.

Underside Placement and Application

Select a suitable underside location where the intended operator can read the direction markings. Follow the equipment manufacturer’s marking and placement guidance, and keep existing warnings, identification and inspection information unobstructed.

Apply to a suitable clean, dry surface. Confirm the location and orientation before application.

This decal provides a visual travel-direction reference. It does not replace matching control identification, operator training or workplace operating procedures.
