This magnetic-backed overhead crane directional sign uses the DIR-002 layout: N at the top, S at the bottom, E on the left and W on the right when viewed as pictured. Black directional arrows and white letters appear on a white field.
Printed letters: N, S, E and W.
This is a fixed directional reference, not a working compass. The E-left/W-right arrangement is intentional in the pictured design; do not substitute it for an E-right/W-left layout without checking the intended mounting surface and operator’s viewing position.
Before ordering, compare all four arrows with the crane’s actual travel directions and pendant or radio-control markings from the position where the operator will read the sign. Do not rely on the product name or compass conventions alone.
Choose 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 11, 12½, 14, 20 or 24 inches. Dimension captions and measurement arrows in the product images illustrate the selected size; they are not directional operating markings on the sign.
This listing is the magnetic-backed version of DIR-002, not the adhesive-only decal. Confirm that the intended surface accepts a magnet and provides suitable flat contact. Magnetic backing does not attach to every metal or painted surface; verify suitability for the actual installation and operating conditions.
Choose a location visible from the normal operating area without covering equipment identification, capacity information, controls or warnings. Keep the installed layout consistent with the crane’s control directions. Follow the manufacturer’s labeling and placement requirements; this page does not establish a universal mounting location or retention rating.
