Kinetic Energy Source Labels – K-1 to K-17 & Custom

EST-K-001

These kinetic energy source labels identify equipment energy control points using a white K-number and two white gear symbols on a gray background. Choose a standard identifier from K-1 through K-17 or request custom printing.

Printed identification and design

K-[selected number], accompanied by two gear symbols and a white rounded border. The gear symbols and identifier are printed together on one sticker.

Size and selection

  • Size: 3 inches wide × 1½ inches tall.
  • Standard Text options: K-1 through K-17.
  • Custom identifiers available through the custom Text option.
  • Adhesive identification stickers, not hanging or personal lockout tags.
  • Selecting a number does not supply the complete numbered set.

Custom kinetic energy identifiers

Select the custom Text option and enter the exact identifiers required in the Notes section when checking out. Examples include K-99, K-1-1 and K-A-1. Include the full identifier you want printed.

The custom image's K-? is a placeholder, not a blank write-in field. The red arrow and ADD YOUR SOURCE NUMBER HERE caption explain customization; they are not part of the printed sticker.

Recommended placement

Place each label on a suitable fixed surface at or beside the corresponding energy control point, visible to personnel identifying that point. Match the K-number to the equipment-specific energy control procedure. Keep guards, existing warnings, equipment identification and service access unobstructed.

This is general placement guidance, not a verified factory mounting location. Have the person responsible for the equipment's energy control procedure confirm the identifier and location. Apply to a suitable clean, dry surface compatible with the actual conditions; do not place labels on moving gears or other moving components.

Identification, not motion control

These labels identify points within an energy control program. They do not stop machinery, prevent unexpected movement, restrain components or verify that hazardous motion has ceased. A K-number is not an operating instruction or proof that equipment is safe to service.

Use the labels alongside equipment-specific procedures, not instead of guards, locks, restraints, verification or other required energy control measures.
