Recommended placement

As a general placement recommendation, use a visible, outward-facing flat panel on the backhoe loader body near the approach to the loader-arm or backhoe-boom work area, where people can read the warning before entering the crush-hazard area. Check visibility from the relevant approach on each side of the machine; an operator-facing cab location alone does not address people approaching from the ground.
