Pallet Rack Weight Capacity Labels – Caution Max Load Shelf

These pallet rack weight capacity labels display the maximum load for an individual shelf. A yellow CAUTION header and large black weight marking help identify the posted limit where warehouse personnel and forklift operators load the shelf.

Size and ordering options

  • Size: 11 inches wide × 3 inches tall.
  • Standard printed weights: 1000, 2000, 2500, 3000, 4000 or 6000 lbs.
  • A custom printed weight option is also available.
  • Choose quantities of 1, 10, 25, 50, 100 or 200 labels.
  • Yellow-and-black CAUTION header above black wording on white.

How to order a custom weight

Select CUSTOM under the Weight option, choose the label quantity, then enter the weight to be printed in the Notes section of your shopping cart. Provide the verified shelf capacity in pounds.

The red CUSTOM wording in the example image indicates the custom-weight option, not a blank write-in label. The quantity captions and cart-note instructions outside the label are ordering guides, not part of the printed label.

Recommended placement

Apply the label to a suitable fixed surface on or immediately beside the shelf it identifies, where personnel can read it before placing loads. Keep the association with that shelf clear and do not cover manufacturer identification, existing capacity information or inspection access.

This is general placement guidance, not a verified mounting location for a particular rack system. Use a suitable clean, dry surface and follow the rack manufacturer's instructions.

Choose the correct capacity before ordering

Use the capacity established for the actual rack, shelf configuration and loading conditions by the manufacturer or a qualified person. This label communicates a supplied weight; it does not calculate, certify or increase the rack's capacity.

A shelf limit is not automatically the total capacity of a rack bay, upright frame or entire racking system. These labels do not replace a rack assessment, inspection or other required capacity information.
