Starting design and size

The label is 5 inches wide × 3 inches tall. The starting artwork has a yellow CAUTION header with a black warning triangle, black MAX LOAD\SHELF lettering, a white capacity area and a black border.

Use a verified capacity

Enter the verified load limit for the specific shelf and installed rack configuration. A shelf limit is not necessarily the capacity of the entire bay, upright frame or racking system. Your custom sticker communicates the information you supply; it does not calculate, certify or increase the rack's capacity.

If you do not know the correct rating, obtain it from the rack manufacturer, supplier or a qualified person responsible for evaluating the installed configuration before creating your label.

Recommended placement

Apply to a suitable clean, dry fixed surface at the corresponding shelf level, facing the loading aisle so forklift operators and material handlers can identify which shelf the label applies to. Keep existing rack identification, warnings, connections and inspection areas unobstructed.

Measure the available space before ordering and check that your completed design is readable from the normal loading position. This is general placement guidance, not a verified manufacturer mounting location.
