Printed wording

WARNING
FACE ACCESS SYSTEM & USE THREE POINT
SUPPORT DURING INGRESS & EGRESS

  • Never Jump Off Machine
  • Climb Up Forwards
  • Down Backwards
  • Ensure The Steps Are Clean

What are three points of contact?

Three points of contact means maintaining two hands and one foot, or two feet and one hand, on suitable handholds and steps while climbing. Ingress means entering; egress means leaving. The printed “Down Backwards” reminder refers to descending while facing the access system, not turning away from it.

Recommended placement

As a general recommendation, place the label on a visible fixed panel beside the equipment's steps, ladder or cab entrance, where it can be read before climbing. Consider visibility both from the ground before ascending and from the exit before descending; a label visible only from the seated operating position may miss the access point.

This is general guidance, not a verified factory location. Follow the equipment manufacturer's required warning and location. Keep the sticker off step treads, gripping surfaces, moving joints and areas subject to foot traffic, and do not obscure existing warnings or controls.

Check before ordering

Compare the wording, dimensions and available mounting space with the label required for your equipment. The sticker is an access reminder, not a handhold, fall-protection device or substitute for the manufacturer's access procedures.
