This Outrigger Safety Decal is printed with the text:

 DANGER Crushing hazard, death, or serious injury could result from being crushed by moving machinery. Stand clear while outriggers are being extended or retracted

This OSHA Outrigger Safety Sticker size is 4 3/4 inches wide by 3 3/4 inches tall.

This crushing hazard decal must be mounted directly on the outer face of the outrigger beams or outrigger jack legs where it is clearly visible to ground personnel. It should also be positioned near the physical outrigger control station, manual control valves, or operating levers. For proper adhesion, apply the sticker to clean, smooth, and dry metal surfaces on the machine chassis near the primary crush hazard zones.

These safety decals are compatible with several types of heavy lifting machinery including mobile cranes, rough terrain cranes, and crane trucks. They are also designed for application on boom trucks and bucket trucks equipped with outriggers or stabilizers. Utilizing these stickers on this equipment ensures ground personnel are properly warned of potential crushing zones during outrigger deployment.

For cranes equipped with a single front outrigger (SFO), you must apply one safety sticker to each standard outrigger, stabilizer, and the SFO itself. This ensures all active crush hazard areas around the perimeter of the machinery are clearly marked. Complete coverage across every stabilizer point is necessary to maintain proper safety visibility for ground crews.

To comply with OSHA 1910.179 and ASME B30.5, warning signs must clearly communicate the crushing dangers associated with extending or retracting outriggers. OSHA 1910.179(n)(3)(xi) specifically notes that operators must ensure outriggers are fully extended and locked before starting operations. These stickers help satisfy these rules when placed directly at the control stations and on the outer faces of the stabilizer beams where they are highly visible.

Great Customer service, Durable and clean look

First off I would like to point out that the customer service is amazing. Secondly, the stickers are the perfect size to not take too much room on a hard hat or a type 2 helmet. We recently made the move to type 2 helmets and my foreman and superintendents were not to ecstatic about it but when they knew they would get new stickers they were happy and specifically asked for some that said they were trained in this. Bought some others from another store but those were round and took up way too much room! Found these and knew that they would be the perfect size. They look great and everyone is happy with them.

These stickers are made out of the great durable material. These fit our type two helmet that the company just moved over to. A lot of our foreman and Superintendent were not happy with the move to the helmets and when we did, they asked specifically for a first aid CPR sticker. I ordered some from another website and those were just too big. They took up too much room, but these were perfect. when I handed them out my guys were ecstatic and happy that these were just the right size for the hardhats that they are utilizing now in the field.
