Directional stickers and decals: Compare N/S/E/W layouts, arrows, symbols, and text. Match the artwork to the mounting surface, operator viewing position, and the crane’s actual travel and control markings.

Maximum-load capacity labels: Reproduce the equipment’s established rated capacity. Labels do not determine or increase that capacity.

OSHA 1910.179 addresses overhead and gantry cranes, including rated-load markings and identification of pendant-control functions.
ASME B30.2 covers specified top-running overhead and gantry crane configurations with top-running trolley hoists; it is not the applicable volume for every crane design.
