The 7 × 5-inch chart summarizes the printed planning thresholds, options, and Table A reference associated with OSHA 29 CFR 1926.1407, 1926.1408, and 1926.1409.
This decal is a supplemental visual reference. It does not replace the complete current regulations, site assessment, voltage determination, employer procedures, encroachment-prevention measures, training, or a qualified person’s determination.
The decal states that 20 feet of clearance is used for power lines up to 350 kV and 50 feet for power lines over 350 kV when determining whether any part of the equipment, load line, or load could enter the prohibited zone while operating up to the crane’s maximum working radius.

The 20- and 50-foot figures are planning thresholds shown on the decal. They should not be confused with the voltage-specific minimum clearance distances in Table A.
Install the decal on a clean, dry, smooth surface where it can be read without covering equipment controls, required manufacturer labels, inspection information, or damage. Remove dust, grease, moisture, adhesive residue, and loose material before application, then press firmly across the full decal.
Inspect the decal during routine equipment inspections and replace it if it becomes loose, damaged, faded, outdated, or illegible.
